2020 SEASAM People’s Choice Award!
As if it wasn’t exciting enough to receive the Judge’s Award at the 2020 Virtual Southeastern Art Show and Market (SEASAM) for 21st Century Hatchet Woman, Shelby was notified that she also won the People’s Choice Award!
Three years ago Shelby was so inspired by all of the talented artists she saw while attending SEASAM that she bought a small loom and taught herself how to bead. Now, her 21st Century Hatchet Woman has received two awards from that very same show.
